What is a Global Group?
Created on 2003-02-25 by Rainer
Gerhards.
When a domain is created, Windows 2000 creates the following built-in global
groups in the Active Directory store to group common types of user accounts for
use throughout the domain.
Global groups provide the ability to assign users to authorized administrator
and authorized user roles with unique domain-level access restrictions based on
the global group to which the user is assigned.
This information was verified with Windows 2000.
