IIS log file records whole month's data under one date/time entry!

Question:

When logging data as a text file in IIS 4.0  on NT 4.0,  at a random date/time in the month it will start logging all data under one date/time entry no matter when data was logged. All log info is there but it is no longer logged under the correct date/time. What's the reason of this strange behaviour and how can it be fixed?


Answer:

There is a bug in IIS that does this after the server has been up for 49 days continuously. You'll have to install NT Service Pack 6 to fix this problem.
