Makes RAS a server multihomed?

Question:

I have a PDC with RAS installed. I experience a number of difficulties, especially with name resolutio. These problems are known on multihomed machines. So does the presence of RAS make my server multihomed?

Answer:

RAS indeed makes a server multihomed. As such, you need to observe the proper rules for multihomed servers in order to make everything working smoothly. In case of a domain controller, however, a better alternative would be to not let it be multihomed. If possible, move the RAS services to a different machine.
