Can I use PHP3/4 on IIS?

Created 2001-04-06.

Question:

Can I use PHP3/4 on IIS?

Answer:

PHP is very well known scripting language, most used under Linux (Apache). PHP is rather similar to ASP. The main advantage of PHP is the possibility to use the scripts on many platforms. If you want to use cheaper webspace to provide your website, you have to use PHP in most cases instead of ASP.

PHP is Open Source (GNU-License) and is free download and useable. You can find a installable version at http://www.php.net.

A simple sample of PHP and IIS5 solution can be found at one of our Websites: http://www.sqlresolver.com.
